ABOUT US:

rubberSNOW began as a trial text message surf report for one break and some friends called rubberSURF. In just three months through only word of mouth, it attracted a veritable cult following of core surfers. We started working on a wireless Snow Report, logically called rubberSNOW, due to the demand of surfers willing to try the beta test.

The concept behind rubberSNOW is to send bite size raw snow reports as text messages to a passionate like-minded people which don’t necessarily have the time or patience to wait to listen for the snow report on the radio, telephone for a frequently busy and out-dated snow report, check online or fish out email in there junk/spam filter box.

rubberSNOW officially launched with only a handful of users and 30 mountains in New England on Columbus Day of 2003. Today, thanks to the feedback of our diverse users, rubberSNOW is the most customized wireless snow report for over 480 mountains in the United States and Canada.
